Travel is Back and Booming

According to the New York Times, with COVID restrictions lessening and more destinations opening their borders, “the industry is looking for a significant rebound in spring and summer. The World Travel & Tourism Council (W.T.T.C.), which represents the global travel and tourism industry, projects that travel and tourism in the United States will reach pre-pandemic levels in 2022, contributing nearly $2 trillion to the U.S. economy. The council also anticipates outbound travel from the United States will increase; it projects bookings over the Easter holiday period to be up by 130 percent over last year.”

As the travel industry rebounds, EDU Trips is back and booming! With so many changes in the industry happening over the last two years, our experienced travel planners are constantly monitoring country and city-specific COVID requirements so that you can travel with ease and confidence. After two years of limited travel, we are excited to book your school’s next trip whether domestic or international!

Over the last several months, our schools have traveled domestically to destinations including Washington D.C., New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia, and Boston and internationally to Costa Rica, the Bahamas, and England. From Broadway shows, historic tours, rain forest hikes, and ATV rides, our students have enjoyed the many sites and adventures of each destination. We handle the hotel reservations, transportation details, tour bookings, and meals while your students and chaperones relax and enjoy all the destination has to offer. We look forward to providing many more adventures for students for the remainder of 2022 and into 2023!
