Day 1: Depart for Thailand
Flight departs for Bangkok, Thailand.

Day 2: Bangkok
Arrive in Bangkok, the capital and and chief port of Thailand. It is the only cosmopolitan city in a country of small towns and villages and is Thailand’s cultural and commercial centre. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a welcome reception with beverages & hors d’oeuvres.

Day 3: Bangkok
After breakfast depart for an Orientation city tour where you will see many magnificent architectural buildings, including Chitlada Palace King’s Residence, Marble Temple, Anantasamakhom Palace & Parliament House, Golden Mountain, Democracy Monument, Giant Swing, Wat Suthat, and the National Museum. Enjoy a rice barge cruise tour where you start by long-tail boat passing various canals and temples. Experience life on the waterway and see Thai people at work and at home by the canal. Move onto a converted rice barge and cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Embark on a food tour of Bangkok featuring a variety of 12 kinds of local street and restaurant foods.

Day 4: Bangkok
After breakfast began a walking tour and visit the Wat Traimit, Wat Pho, and the Grand Palace, whose elegant stepped roofs are considered the height of classical Thai architecture. Explore the manicured grounds and palace temple before enjoying some free time to explore. Visit Khao San Road, a night market and browse stalls full of souvenirs while brushing up on your bargaining skills.

Day 5: Bangkok/Chang Mai
After breakfast fly to Chang Mai. Once you arrive, take a scenic drive through the most historic areas of Chiang Mai, passing through the old city walls, city gates and moat. Drive past the local market, foreign consulates, government buildings and ‘Tapae Gate’ before continuing to the acclaimed temple Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, home to a holy relic of the Lord Buddha and considered by many to be the most sacred Wat in northern Thailand. The temple compound offers a beautiful view of Chiang Mai city and the surrounding countryside. Continue on to visit the primitive Meo Pui village, a local community known for its unique culture and colorful costumes.

Day 6: Chang Mai
After breakfast you will enjoy a full day visit to Elephant Nature Park; a natural home and sanctuary for elephants, buffalos, dogs, cats, birds and many other rescued animals. Your visit starts with a picturesque drive through the rural countryside to Elephant Nature Park. You will hear the personal stories of rescued and orphaned elephants. See how they became a proud herd and free from abuse for the first time in their lives. Observe free roaming elephants (no riding), and other rescued animals enjoying the natural surroundings of our sanctuary. Your visit helps support our regional projects and offers an invaluable opportunity of helping elephant conservation.

Day 7: Chang Mai/Phuket Island
After breakfast depart for Phuket Island. Arrive to Phuket Island and spend the day on a secluded beach to swim, snorkel or just relax.

Day 8: Phuket Island/United States
After breakfast enjoy a half-day bike tour exploring the island. Spend the remainder of the day to explore, swim, relax or go shopping. Arrive to airport and check in for flight to the U.S.
