Day 1: Departure
Flight departs for Tokyo, Japan

Day 2: Adventure Begins
Arrive to Tokyo, check into hotel & visit the shopping district of Harajuku
Evening-Tonight you will attend a traditional Japanese performance, Kabuki.

Day 3: Adventure
After breakfast, you will visit the Tokyo Imperial Palace which is the main residence of the Emperor of Japan. Meet with a local historian who will share the history of this Palace which is located on the former site of Edo Castle once use as the seat of the Tokygawa shogun who ruled Japan from 1603 until 1867.
Visit the oldest Buddhist Temple in Tokyo, Sensoji. Afterward, you will take in great views of the Tokyo Bay on the Yurikamome Monorail to the island of Odaiba. Sites include the Fuji Building, a huge Gundam statue & a replica of the statue of liberty.

Day 4: Adventure Begins
Wake up early to visit the Tsukiji Fish Market, meet with a local fisherman and learn about their trade
Spend the afternoon in Inogashira Park, a large park in Tokyo dedicated to the vengeful goddess of music. You can rent boats or visit the shopping district of Kichijoji.
Visit the entertainment district of Shinjuku and enjoy an evening of Karaoke!

Day 5: Adventure
Today you will travel to beautiful lakeside town of Hakone
Upon arrival to Hakone, you will enjoy a cruise on Lake Ashi where you will take in the beautiful backdrop of Mt. Fuji. After the cruise you will visit the Hakone Kowakien Yunessun hot spring park where you spend the rest of the day relaxing in the thermal baths in the mist of the magnificent nature of Hakone. Board the bullet train to Osaka.

Day 6: Departure
Today is packed full of adventure! You will visit the towns of Osaka, Kobe, Nara & Kyoto with stops at a local sake brewery, Motomachi shopping district, the famous Nara Park & Todai-ji Temple.

Day 7: Historic Tour
After a leisurely breakfast, you will begin a sightseeing tour of Kyoto, formerly the imperial capital of Japan & one of the oldest Asian metropolises. You will visit several historic sites including Klyomizu Temple, Nijo Castle & the Golden Pavilion. The tour ends with a visit to the Nishijin Textile Center where you will enjoy a kimono show & hand-weaving demonstration. This evening you will visit the Gion district in Kyoto, which is one of the most exclusive & well- known geisha districts in all of Japan.

Day 8: Adventure
This morning you will embark on a charming, old fashioned train ride along the Hozugawa river through the mountains making its way to Arashiyama & Kameoka. Upon arrival to Arashiyama enjoy a guided walking tour. After lunch, depart for Osaka where you will enjoy a guided tour of the Osaka Castle. Enjoy a farewell dinner in the Dotonbori business district.
