Day 1: Home-> Sydney, Australia
Fly to Sydney Australia; Meet Edutrips Representative at baggage claim & our coach bus will transfer you to your hotel. Later today you’ll visit Sydney’s historic Rocks area known for its narrow cobbled streets and convict buildings. In the quaint suburb of Paddington see tiny Victorian houses decorated with cast iron “lacework”. Next we visit the famous Sydney Opera House, tour & time to explore. Next we take the drive to Bondi Beach. You will learn about the colourful history of Bondi, how surf lifesaving began, Bondi’s shark attacks and the famous Black Sunday.

Day 2 & 3: Cairns
Today you will fly to Cairns, the home to the Great Barrier Reef. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your boat where you will spend the next few days diving and discovering the Great Barrier Reef and its inhabitants.

Day 4-5: Ayres Rock
Today after the boat docks you will board a plane to the center of Australia. You will spend the next few days exploring Uluru. You will get a chance to see the spectacular sunrise and learn about the deep significance it has to the Anangu people. Short walks will bring you close to this wonderful and powerful place, viewing rock art, waterholes and appreciating the unique flora and fauna of Uluru. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a Dot Painting Workshop lead by Aboriginal artists.

Day 5-6: Darwin
After and early breakfast we will depart for Darwin. We will spend the next few days exploring Mary River National Park where you will see crocodiles, bird life and much more.

Day 7-8: Melbourne
After and early breakfast we will depart for Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria, is known as the Garden, Arts and Sports capital of Australia.Over the next few day you will visit Aboriginal Heritage Walk through the Royal Botanic Gardens, Queen Victoria Market ,Federation Square and Melbourne’s sporting precinct which includes the M.C.G, Rod Laver Arena and Olympic Park. In addition you will get to experience the awe inspiring views from the highest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere. Located in the CBD adjacent to the Yarra River at Southbank in Melbourne’s iconic Eureka Tower, Skydeck.

Day 9: Twelve Apostles
Today you depart for a day trip on one of the world’s most inspiring coastal drive.You will make your way to the Shipwreck coast area of the Great Ocean Road; our first stop, The Twelve Apostles. The mighty Twelve Apostles are world-recognized icons of the Great Ocean Road. These giant rock stacks soar from the swirling waters of the Southern Ocean and are a central feature of the spectacular Port Campbell National Park. Your first view will be of towering cliffs, sparkling blue-green sea and a small, sandy beach. It’s hard to imagine that the drama of one of Victoria’s most tragic shipwrecks was played out at this very spot more than 120 years ago, giving its name to the gorge. Day 10: Fly home
After breakfast, we board our flight back home.
