The City of Light is gearing up to host the world’s greatest athletes at this summer’s Olympic games! The 2024 Summer Olympics will be the third time this city has hosted the games, joining Los Angeles and London as the only tri Olympic cities.

Opening ceremonies will be held on Friday, July 26 along the Seine River. This river route will float athletes by some of the most iconic sites in Paris, like the Louvre and the Notre Dame De Paris, before arriving across from the Eiffel Tower, which is currently adorned with the Olympic rings.

Tourism is booming in Paris as visitors from around the world flock to see their favorite athletes go for gold, and represent their home countries!
